Night Thoughts

It's been quiet day for me; mostly spent sleeping, I didn't even make any phone calls.  Radiation exhausts my system, depletes my energy; well what little energy I have these days.

In the morning I'm calling Dr. B to let him know I might have solved the swollen toes/feet/legs mystery.  Just another item from the radiation side effect menu: lymphedema  SEE LINK
Since I've already been tested for blood clots (none found) then I pray therapeutic massage and T.E.D. stockings (Thrombo Embolic Deterrent compression stockings) will correct this situation.

My next brachytherapy is to be this Friday...then I can spend the weekend getting partially back together for the the final procedure Tuesday of the following week.  I think that's a bit close but I'll suck it up to finish this course of treatment.  After that, folks, we are on follow-up watch, yippie!  And dental work and building my system back up.  We're coming down to the finish line.

The final meds of the day are taking effect so I'll close for now.

I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances. - Martha Washington, 1732-1802
