Ever have one of those days where it's not really horrid, yet not spectacularly wonderful? A day where you could easily alternate between screaming in frustration or screaming with glee. For me, this has been that kind of day and now that it's come to the end I'm choosing to think screaming with glee is the winner.
Bubbles help...yes, bubbles! I keep a large selection of bubbles and various bubble wands right outside the front door for handy therapy. No need to even buy any now that I have a great bubble recipe and adding scents make the bubbles even more fun! (right now I have a batch of peppermint bubbles) Gotta tell you that allowing oneself to enjoy play meant for young children just helps keep me smiling. Bubbles, slides, swings, sand-boxes, water pistols, finger paints, playdough and crayons/coloring books have been part of my life since I can remember; playing is cheap therapy. Keeping child-like wonder in my life has made the difference in how I scream.
Having the transfusions will give me more arm strength with the bubble wand and I believe it's been way too long since I colored a picture for my mom to display on the fridge, so I'll do that as well. Right now I'm having trouble just staying awake!
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?""That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"--so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you’re sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."
