The Warrior Is A Child

Chemo and radiation went great, again, today....once I got there.  My new transport system to/from appointments had a few glitches so I was 3 hours late starting, but all ends well; especially since I'm not in danger of being kicked out of cancer treatments, haha!

Blood counts have gone down, both my red cells and platelets; platelets were almost too low to even do chemo today. I've been saying my spleen is acting up for 6 days now but since it could be for so many reasons we'll just keep an eye on the counts.  Both docs are thinking the radiation is the culprit.  Just another wait and see.

Same goes for the dental issues.  I now start the task of finding the solution to this challenge but since God has been so gracious to bring me to the right cancer docs I'm believing He will open the pathway for the dental care, too. Sometimes it just seems there is no respite; oh wait, I apologize; I nearly forgot we are still doing hard time on planet earth.....it's the Other Side where we are permanently are rescued from these sorts of things.   Hmmm, those happy pills must've had me a bit discombombulated for a moment.

Here's one of my life theme songs, enjoy!
The Warrior Is A Child

Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.

  1. Hey Sis...praising God with you for being gracious and knowing He will continue, whether it is dental help, encouragement, transportation, any and every need. Here is your verses for tonight: "Bless the LORD, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul and forget not all His benefits, Who forgives your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases (amen), Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
Psalm 103:1-5. I love you, Sis! Jody
