September 11, 2001 a tragic series of events took place in America. The zeroes who instigated those events had no idea their despicable acts would turn countless others into Heroes that day and in the days to come. Sadly, tragic events occur daily on this planet, many of them never get even a passing nod in the news.
Approximately 12,000 Americans die each day. Of that number 1,500 are children and adults daily dying from various forms of cancer. I think that's no less tragic than what took place 8 years ago today.
My day included a burst of unexpected energy which I used to clean the kitchen and front room windows inside and out; also took those curtain down, handwashed, hung out in the warm breeze to dry then rehung, dusted bedroom and front room, cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed the carpeting throughout. Whew!
Made it to/ from radiation, number 15 only 10 more external to go! Got meds refilled; hafta have those happy pills since I've got a very grumpy monster (shall we all boo hoo for monster?????? Nah) Stopped by the original clinic today, there were smiles and hugs all around; it was wonderful to see them at this point in my recovery when last they saw me it was the day after I got out of the first hospital. That was a very stressful day; today even though my cancer battle goes on it was heart-warming to see Debbie and Glenn.
Some people care too much, I think it's called love.-- Winnie the Pooh

Hey Sis! That WAS a burst of energy, you got a lot accomplished and I am sure if felt great to do that. I didn't realize the statistics on death from cancer was that high - a very sobering realization. We continue to praise God here for your recovery progress. "For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11
