Rolling Along

Tuesday, already, just 3 more radiation/1 chemo...seems like forever it took to get this medical problem attended to and now after2 hospitalizations, 9 transfusions, countless blood tests, 22 radiation/4 chemo treatments the first part of this cancer journey is nearing an end!  I will be glad when we roll on to whatever next journey God has in store but please know how blessed I feel to have you on this one.  I need and love each of you, even if I don't know you...or if I do; I want you all to know that as you have seen me through this  I've prayed for your needs, your hopes, your dreams, your triumphs, your sadness.

There will be an exam, MRI results, detailed info concerning the radiation implants and a treatment tomorrow.  Tonight I've made certain the meds are well-timed, as it's been a physically ugly day.  I'm getting new meds, for the burns and am now the proud owner of a 'tushie cushie' (aka foam butt donut pillow).

Difficult things take a long time, impossible things a little longer.  ~Author Unknown

  1. Hey Sis! You know that you + God = one amazing package, right? Even if you don't feel it or see it, the truth is plain to those of us who see what you go through each day. I found a little quote today that I think is fitting for the way you are approaching this trial:

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says...

“Oh no....she's awake!!”’ Amen to that!!!!

    Love you! Jody
