I Am Weak But He Is Strong

Even though things are going well for me on this cancer journey there are those times I have the strength of liquid jello.  I'm just selfish enough to want to be doing other things than going to medical appointments/treatments; I had one of those moments today, I simply wanted to tell my cancer I was taking the day off.  Of course my monster would like nothing better than for me to do just that, so of course I sucked it up and went off to radiation.  I needed more power and energy to do that than I've currently got which meant putting my pout away and holding the hand of God; His power got me through my weakness (as always!)

Truly, what I'm dealing with is teensy compared to others I know are coping with: those of you who've lost loved ones to cancer, the brave woman enduring kidney dialysis 3 times weekly, the young family torn apart by violence/divorce, the people who've lost jobs/homes/health over this recession; on and on the list goes...yes, I am weak but He is strong and for those of us who choose to lean on Him He will carry us through whatever each of us is going through.  ~Sleep well this night knowing He watches over us through the darknesses we face.~
