How do I begin to praise God for His tender mercies through this entire past 12 months? In case some of you aren't aware: I've been very ill since November 2008 and it was just in recent months I was diagnosed with and treated for cervical cancer. Through it all God blessed me with life, laughter, love.....now it seems He has also blessed me with victory over the monster which invaded my body. By all earthly standards I should have died at one point during this past 12 months, yet here I still am! Thank You Father In Heaven for blessing me to see this day.....my birthday!

We are all born for a purpose. We are not here by accident, but to fulfil a God-given destiny. We may have many plans for our lives, but as this verse says, “it is the Lord’s purpose that will stand”. Sometimes God can change the direction we are going in. Sometimes it can be a radical change, or sometimes just a slight adjustment.
We need to ask God to show us His purpose for our lives – what He wants us to do. He will show us and help us to take steps toward fulfilling it.
God has a purpose and a destiny
That will last throughout eternity.
