What A Difference A Grain Makes

It isn't the mountains ahead that wear you out, it's the grain of sand in your shoe.   Yesterday I had a bit more than one grain but today I've none.  It's back to taking the steady steps on my journey to being cancer free.

The radiation treatment went smoothly today, only 15 more to go!  It appears that Dr. B is setting up my internal radiation rounds on Oct. 8th.  I'll be doing those as an in-patient.  Dr. B would like to get 2 of those 5 internals done during my first in-patient and by my calculations it means being in the hospital (in isolation) for about a week.  Since I'll be radioactive I won't even be able to do crafts as everything I take in has to be disposed of; reading/writing materials, would also be disposed of.  The clothing I plan to wear home will need to be kept outside my room.  Pretty intense treatment but also extremely precise and powerful; whatever vestiges of my monster left by external radiation & chemo will be obliterated with the internal radiation: KABOOM!!!  Also it will NOT hurt any other parts of my body like regular treatments are doing.

Today I finished the paperwork segment for financial help and even though it's possible I'll get turned down I was told it most likely won't be.  She also told me even if that were to happen she's there to find a means to get me the help necessary.  My bills totaling nearly $30,000 to the first hospital got included (although my portion for them is only $32.00, but hey I need that for my on-going feminine supplies!)  By the way, I've yet to see any billing from the hospital I'm now dealing with....what I have gotten from them is a hand-written/signed thank you/get well soon card from every staff person who has/is dealing with me there!

As for radiation side effects, now and/or later, I've been researching products with pure Emu Oil.  Very interesting products I learned about from others who've had nothing but success with.  Great for skin, hair, bones and more; lots of resources to purchase and pricing is very reasonable.

Cervical Cancer Awareness
This is the site I will henceforth be promoting.  Currently in the USA alone, at least 10 women die each day from cervical cancer; world-wide it is approximately 695 deaths each day!  Killing my monster is my full time job right now but all indications are I will not become a death statistic of this disease.

And now dear readers time to toddle off to dream land. ~Night All~
