More big news: September 28, 29, 30th I'll be in-patient for my first internal radiation. Dr. B. says I'll also be getting more transfusions. Turns out I WILL be able to take things in with me which do not have to be disposed of but since I'll be pretty much flat on my back the entire time I don't see holding my arms up in the air to embroider or crochet as being very comfy. So I guess I'll be watching tv, sleeping and chatting on the phone. I'll be radioactive so visitors are discouraged and not even hospital staff will spend much time with me.
Tomorrow I have my last chemo, then will make a quick trip over to Dr. B's to see the MRI pics but after the exam he did yesterday I think he wanted to cry tears of joy along with me! My monster is nearing the end of its' miserable existence, yippie!!!!
Other news is Mom/Ralph and Jody/Bob sent me emu soap and oil....I got the package yesterday, used it last night and my report is my wounds feel better , skin softer and my hair thicker!!! I am not embellishing; this stuff really works! Now to see if they have some that works on teeth????????? Check them out here

And so ladies and gents that's the news report....there are still hurdles in this journey; most likely I still won't be able to work until January 2010 because of getting my strength back. It's ok...we've taken this one step, one minute, one hour, one day at a time to this point and look how far we've traveled! Right now I'm gonna post this then go sleep for a bit.

I am rejoicing with you! This is wonderful news. One thing you might get for your hospital "visit" would be audio books, they would pass the time on your back too. All librarys carry nice selections now and some books can be downloaded off the internet.

Hi Sis! Hope you had a chance to enjoy your "free" day...maybe a little crafting or something frivilous. I was thinking about your journey and wanted to share this scripture with you tonight:
ReplyDelete"Though I walk in the midst of trouble You will revive me; You will will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands." Psalm 138:7,8 Enjoy your free time! Love Jody
Thinking of you from the other side of the world. The audio books sound a great idea or just some soothing music...Take Care cos I Care
